Via Choralis’ spring concert features Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria, a welcome and rare opportunity to hear this uplifting work in its entirety. The forty-voice choir will be assisted by guest soloists and a string quartet. Preceding the Gloria, the choir will perform other glorious choral favourites by Handel, Mozart, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Nathaniel Dett and Andrew Balfour. Via Choralis is led by Grant Harville and accompanied by pianist Kinza Tyrrell. The concert takes place on Sunday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 10030 Third St., Sidney.
