Art in the Garden is an informal exhibition put on by a group of 4 Victoria artist friends, in the front garden of well known glass blower Lisa Samphire.
Lisa creates stunning pieces using a wide variety of techniques using murrines, gold foil and switched axis as well as others She is often inspired by colours and patterns in her garden, and our local beaches.
Linda Rajotte’s unique silver and mixed media jewellery have a timeless feel. She is inspired by sea, surf and sand.
Potter Cindy Gibson’s signature porcelain work incorporates colourful pattern and themes using in-house made slips and glazes. Her specialty is one of a kind garden pieces, as well as mugs and vases.
Jennifer McIntyre’s paintings reimagine domestic garden scenes using layers of pattern and colour.
There is always plenty of lovely artwork on display at this annual event so feel free to browse, chat and take your time to see it all. These four professionals celebrate the handmade and love to talk shop. Come and be inspired! The artists will be in attendance rain or shine.
