How do you broach the subject of somebody's health?
If things are not going okay for you, do you tell other people and go into detail, or do you say "I'm fine"? Many family caregivers don't think other people want to know the details of their caregiving challenges, nor the health of the person they're caring for. So what can you do beyond asking how they are? The Family Caregivers' Network exists to assist and support people who are caring for family members and friends with cancer, alzheimer's and other diseases, as well as supporting the children of aging parents. Find us on the web at www.familycaregiversnetwork.org .
