Established in 2001, Sunrise of Victoria is a licensed private residential care community that provides individualized care with a personalized program of assistance in activities of daily living for its residents.Sunrise employs over 100 people in Victoria. Sunrise also offers specialized care for seniors living with dementia. Memory care is provided through an innovative relationship-based program using therapeutic and validation techniques to communicate with empathy. The program stimulates the memories and senses of residents.

Options are a way of life at Sunrise, whether it’s in the dining room where there’s always a special menu of daily options along with à la carte favorites, or in a resident’s suite, where they can wake up as late or as early as they want – just like they’ve always done.

Preserving Dignity

We value the life experiences of every senior and give each the respect they deserve. For example, in our Reminiscence Neighborhoods, residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss are guided to engage in meaningful activities that give them a sense of purpose and create pleasant days.

We care for the whole person—mind, body and spirit. Our team members care not only for the physical needs of our residents, but are committed to providing opportunities for social interaction, mental exercise and spiritual fulfilment that suit the tastes and preferences of each resident.

There are no "visiting hours" at Sunrise, and we encourage visitors to spend time with residents at any time of day or night. Our care managers and community leaders regularly communicate with family members to ensure we are providing the very best service for our residents.
