17th Annual Hyde Creek Salmon Festival

Each fall, up to 5,000 visitors come out to celebrate the return of the Salmon back to their birthplace to lay and fertilize their eggs.

This free family event of educational displays and interactive exhibits promotes environmental awareness, protection and stewardship in fun and fascinating ways.
A day for exploring and learning about salmon and wildlife in an urban fish-bearing watershed. The Hyde Creek Watershed Society is a non-profit Association which opens the Hatchery to the public each Saturday morning from 9:00 – 11:00.

Whistler 55+ Winter Adventure

Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s semi-annual three-day program, the “55+ Winter Celebration”, is tailored to guests aged 55 years and beyond, and features a popular collection of culinary, craft, dance, and entertainment adventures, as well as all meals, plus transportation from Vancouver and Victoria. The 55+ Winter Celebration runs from November 28 to December 1, 2016, and prices start from $699 CAD per person.
