Lytton River Festival

BC Interior

Sat. September 4th, 2010 & Sun. September 5th, 2010
Saturday: 10:00 AM - Midnight Sunday: 12 Noon - 6 PM

It is a two-day event. The first day revolves around children's activities, a Farmer's Market, local talent show and a variety of events on a "main stage". The evening program includes a family-oriented street dance and a spectacular demonstration by fire spinners.
The second day focuses on a mini-Pow Wow and First Nations artisan demonstrations and displays. It is a perfect day for those interested in First Nations culture. Pow Wow dancers and drummers come from different regions of the province and artisans converge on Lytton from various Interior areas.
Accommodation is very reasonable in Lytton and to experience the pulse of our small community you are encouraged to stay overnight. The entire event is free.
