Storytelling & Oral History Workshop for Seniors
Seniors! Here is your chance to attend an interactive and fun workshop on the art of storytelling and record your oral history! Elders featured in the Voices of Wisdom project at 411 Seniors Centre Society will be delivering workshops on the importance of storytelling as a means of preserving culture and passing along wisdom and knowledge. At this workshop you will share with your peers your life stories and record each others, from which we will upload them to CD for you to keep and share. This project aims to embrace diversity and multiculturalism in Canada through the sharing of oral histories.
