Fritjof Capra "LEARNING FROM LEONARDO: A Synthesis of Science, Art and Eco Design" A rare appearance by Fritjof Capra speaking about Leonardo da Vinci, the great master painter and genius of the Renaissance. In this lecture based on his book, The Science of Leonardo, the renowned author and lecturer offers a novel interpretation of Leonardo's scientific work from a 21st-century perspective. We learn about the great relevance of Leonardo da Vinci's science for our times, and why it cannot be understood without his art, nor his art without the science. Capra is a member of the advisory council of the Centre for Child Honouring which calls for a whole systems shift towards an ecological and organic worldview - for a world fit for children. World renowned physicist and systems theorist, Fritjof Capra, Ph.D., is a founding director of the Center for Ecoliteracy in Berkeley, California. He is also the author of five international bestsellers, including The Tao of Physics, The Web of Life, and The Hidden Connections. His latest book, The Science of Leonardo, was published in 2008.
