Brant Festival, Bald Eagle Release
Nanaimo & North Vancouver Island
Sat. April 24th, 2010 2:00pm
As part of the Oceanside's Brant Festival the North Island Wildlife Centre will release a recovered Bald Eagle, present a live Owl and invite the public to walk the beautiful grounds, museum and Learning Centre. View the great animals that can not be released and live their life on the grounds of the Centre, such as a Black Bear, Bald Eagles, Owls, Hawks, Ravens (black and white), and many more.
Make a perfect day of it and stroll around our beautiful pond area with ducks, geese, turtles enjoying the spring. There will also be all kinds of displays and - of course!- games for the small visitors. Refreshments are available throughout the afternoon.
