Bike Freedom - Knowledge and Skills for adults 55+

South Vancouver Island

Sun. September 17th, 2017 – Sun. October 1st, 2017 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Bike Freedom provides training for adults 55+ who want to improve their knowledge, skills, and confidence to start biking more. This training program is delivered in 3 parts. Register for one or all three!

Part 1: Best practices of safe cycling (in-class). Bike safety, traffic theory, road positioning, and MUCH more.
Part 2: Bike handling skills (on-bike, parking lot). Balance & control, emergency stopping, bike fit, signalling, shoulder checking, and MUCH more.
Part 3**: On the road. Group ride on quiet roads and pathways (approx. 4km). Practice theory and skills learned in parts 1 & 2.

This class features certified bike skills instructors who are also 55+,
