The Vancouver Kidney Walk ____________________________________________________________________

Everyone is invited to join The 2010 Vancouver Kidney Walk organized by The Kidney Foundation of Canada, BC Branch.


What: walkers are invited to join friends, family and neighbours in taking their first steps in becoming a kidney hero by participating in the walk and registering to be an organ donor. The day will include live entertainment (i.e. Mountainridge Bluegrass Band), refreshments, a delicious barbeque, Kidney Kids Korner and a silent auction.

Why: to raise funds for The Kidney Foundation
to increase organ donor registration
to have fun and be eligible to win prizes

Challenge your co-workers, classmates, friends to beat your friends' pledges.
Organize a team of walkers from your neighborhood or work.
Lace up your walking shoes, bring your pledges and join us for your local event.

At first glance the Kidney Walk is just a fundraiser like all other walks. It comes with entertainment and incentives just like other walks. But for this walk we don't just want your pledges; we want your kidneys too. Not now! Later…when you don't need them anymore. Come to the walk, bring your pledges, and sign up to be a Kidney Hero by registering to be an organ donor. You might win a prize, you will save a life.
