55+ Lifestyle Show Vancouver - Advance 2 for 1 Tickets

By Barbara Risto, INSPIRED Senior Living Publisher on Oct 1, 2015

The 55+ Lifestyle Show in Vancouver BC opens its doors on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at 11:30 am.  This the first show we have hosted in Vancouver, although we have been hosting a similar show in Victoria for the past ten years.  We're excited to finally meet some of our Vancouver readers. We hope you'll come out to see us and support this premier event.

Admission is $5 at the door, but you can purchase 2 for 1 tickets in advance and take a friend with you.  Just go online to www.55pluslifestyle.com  It's really easy!

The show is hosted by INSPIRED Senior Living (note our new name...more of that in another blog) in partnership with Eldercare Foundation.

This event offers a full day of information, fun and excitement. Over 60 exhibits and all day seminars, including keynote speaker Deborra Hope, retired TV anchor.  Some great door prizes and lots of free stuff being given away including copies of our best selling housing book, called "To Move or Not to Move".  We'll be giving away about 1000 copies!

The show is being held at the beautiful waterfront Creekside Community Centre at 1 Athletes Way, Olympic Village. We recommend public transit since parking is limited in the area.  Ferries, buses and skytrain bring you within feet or not more than a short stroll of the venue.

Thank you for bringing this important conference to Vancouver! I have been telling everyone about it. (I am one of the panelists of Cheryl Wilson-Stewart's panel from RED SHOES and honoured to be a small part of this event.) Do you have a one page advertisement so I may send it out to friends and colleagues? I haven't seen any advertising on this event as yet. I have this crazy idea to send it along to the UBC Alumni Association to set up a booth with volunteer opportunities for the thousands of grads in the city who may wish to become engaged with UBC again (as is what I do with much of my time). So keep up the great work and look forward to the day!! Joan Webster (South Surrey)
