For forty years, Queenswood has been a haven for people seeking quiet time and space for reflection, healing, and personal growth.

“Before the retreat, I felt discouraged, not good enough, weary.

Now, I feel proud, uplifted, more certain, supported, reminded!”

- Queenswood retreat guest, January 2010

The retreat centre is located on a forested property in Cadboro Bay.

The Queenswood mission is to facilitate a deepening of one's relationship with the one's self, the Divine, others and the universe.

People from many different spiritual backgrounds feel at home at Queenswood.

It was founded by the Sisters of St. Ann, and is now a non-profit organization. Queenswood programs are available to everyone needing support and healing at key times in their lives, regardless of their financial situation.

Queenswood’s holistic approach to spirituality integrates spiritual, physical and mental health.

Queenswood programs renew family caregivers, teachers, healthcare workers, social workers and non-profit organizations so that they can go on caring and serving others in a healthy way.

Having the University of Victoria become Queenswood’s new landlord in 2011 could create exciting possibilities for programs to support the professional and personal formation of students in caregiver professions.

Your gift will express your personal spiritual values, and help ensure the continuation of Queenswood’s unique services.
