Senior Living Magazine is about to host the 8th annual Senior Expo! Over a hundred senior groups, charities and senior-focused businesses will be meeting thousands of our readers face to face. It’s going to be a high energy environment full of food, dance, music and activities from cultures the world over as this year’s theme celebrates the cultural diversity of our senior community.

Organizations that have a mandate to expand the lifestyle options of seniors have been invited. Most of the exhibitors from years past have answered the call and are looking forward to returning to see so many of our readers and advertisers face to face – like an annual homecoming of friends and customers.

Why is the Expo so popular with our advertisers? Two words: It’s all about trust and exposure.

It is an excellent way to tie into the fan base Senior Living magazine has spent nine years creating in the senior community. This is one more way for us to give YOU a warm introduction, and anyone in business knows a referral from someone you trust will always hold far more weight than trying to meet them on your own.

People need to see and process a piece of information six times before they will take action. Tradeshows accelerate sales by a factor of 7-8 times when done in conjunction with advertising.

It puts all your potential clients in one room. With an average of 2,500 or more attendees at our Senior Expos, many will be people who don’t know you or what you have to offer. And you might be offering exactly what they need right now!

You will save time. Almost half of the leads you acquire from a trade show will not require a sales call to engage a new customer.

Even if you have met an attendee, approximately 85% of visitors have not been called on by your company in the last year. Might be time to remind them that you’re still around and invite them to do business with you again!

According to Soest & Associates Media Company, it costs substantially less to close a sale from a tradeshow lead ($625) than it does to close a sale in the field ($1,117). Source: http://www.soest.com/TradeCenterResouorces/articles3.html

If you have been unsure about attending, or too busy to book a booth, now is your last chance. We’d love to see you there. And so would thousands of our readers who will be disappointed if they miss you!

With a few vacancies popping up due to last minute cancellations, this is your final chance to get a space at this popular event. Don’t miss the marketing event of the year. Call our event planner Caroline at 250-812-8782 or email caroline@seniorlivingmag.com

See you at the 2013 Senior Expo on March 12th.
